Agility T-test percentile
Your agility t-test ranked against all adults of your age and sex — and against NCAA Division I athletes. Set a T course with one cone 10 yards forward and side cones 5 yards left and right. Sprint forward and touch the base of the center cone, shuffle 5 yards left, 10 yards right and 5 yards back to center without crossing your feet, touching each cone base, then run backward through the start. Hand-time from first movement; best of three with full recovery.

Modeled — estimated from indirect evidence; treat as an informed estimate. Modeled from 304 college-aged adults spanning low through intercollegiate sport participation. Published strata are reweighted to an assumed 60% low / 30% recreational / 10% intercollegiate mix; low-participation SDs are widened modestly. Older-age factors are borrowed from the modeled 5-10-5 decline curve. This is not a representative adult survey.

Agility T-test — NCAA Division I athletes
Pooled across sports with published testing data, weighted by the number of D1 athletes in each sport.
| 10th | 25th | 50th | 75th | 90th | 95th | 99th | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Men | 10.58 s | 10.12 s | 9.61 s | 9.11 s | 8.67 s | 8.40 s | 7.91 s |
| Women | 11.74 s | 11.23 s | 10.65 s | 10.04 s | 9.50 s | 9.20 s | 8.67 s |
Men: Modeled — estimated from indirect evidence; treat as an informed estimate. Modeled all-sport pool. Men's basketball has direct NCAA D1 data; every other sport is one roster-weighted modeled component informed by the high-participation college group. Sport mix, timing protocols and the unmeasured-sport distribution are assumptions.
Women: Modeled — estimated from indirect evidence; treat as an informed estimate. Modeled all-sport pool. Women's volleyball and soccer supply small NCAA D1 anchors; every other sport is one roster-weighted modeled component. The soccer spread, sport mix, timing protocols and unmeasured-sport distribution are assumptions.
Agility T-test questions
What is a good agility t-test for a 30-year-old man?
For a 30-year-old man of median US size (179 lb), 11.10 s beats half of them, 10.38 s reaches the 75th percentile, and 9.82 s reaches the 90th of all men that age. The calculator adjusts these for your own bodyweight where the evidence supports it.
What is a good agility t-test for a 30-year-old woman?
For a 30-year-old woman of median US size (153 lb), 13.24 s beats half of them, 12.21 s reaches the 75th percentile, and 11.32 s reaches the 90th of all women that age. The calculator adjusts these for your own bodyweight where the evidence supports it.
How does that compare with D1 athletes?
Division I is a different population: our estimated median NCAA Division I man is at 9.61 s, which would be the 89th percentile among all men aged 18-29; and our estimated median NCAA Division I woman is at 10.65 s, which would be the 95th percentile among all women aged 18-29. The D1 comparison is raw — no age or size adjustment — so it is you against the athletes as they are.
How accurate are these agility t-test percentiles?
Modeled — estimated from indirect evidence; treat every number here as an informed estimate, not a measurement. Modeled percentiles have no validated error margin. Results past the 99th percentile are shown as 99+ because the data cannot support more precision.
